MILTON — Milton voters will have a chance to learn more about their mayoral and city council candidates Thursday during two forums sponsored by the Rock County Civics Academy.
The forum begins at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23 at Main Hall on the campus of the former Milton College, 513 College St.
The forum will begin with the two candidates running for Milton mayor. They are Annisa Welch and Tom Chesmore.
Then at 7 p.m., three of the four candidates running for two open seats on the Milton City Council will take the floor.
Nancy Lader, Theresa Rusch and Sharla Walker will answer questions about why they are best qualified to be re-elected to the board. Bill Wilson is unable to attend.
This might be voters’ only opportunity to get up close and personal, share their issues and air their concerns.
Audience members will be allowed to submit questions, along with questions from moderator Rich Gruber.
